To better understand and appreciate the context and import of American Democratic Capitalism, one has first to understand their own personal perceptions of reality (the 'prism of self'), and their position in the universe that is our shared existence. None of us live in a vacuum. We have evolved over millennia to occupy a place where the Individual is both an equal and essential member of an infinite and unknowable cosmos and, concurrently, the center of that cosmos. Such is the paradox of the human existence. We are, at once, the most important part of the universe and the least important part of the universe, a microcosm that is neither superior nor inferior to all the others. 

 

The Core Philosophy that informs American Democratic Capitalism, is its fraternal twin - Agnostic Deist Christianity. This Sacratism is a personal spiritual-philosophical framework that joins agnostic intellectual humility, deistic belief in a rational Creator, and the moral teaching of Christianity—without requiring certainty about supernatural doctrines or adherence to church authority. Understanding and accepting this coin with two sides is essential to the ADC doctrine embodied in the Modern American Patriot.
